Hi Jim & Mike Colin G3KMP & myself Wish to thank you both for your help testing ect on 73 resulting in being heard by Jim M0BMU on 71.75Khz Thanks Gents your Toffs and True Amateurs Best regards Bill G0AKY & Colin G3KMP My pleasure. 73kHz is very quiet at present in Hertfordshire as the Rugby station is running just a carrier, confirming that the high noise level was due to its modulation, not Rx blocking or Tx carrier noise. I will be on the band tomorrow morning using normal CW on or near 71.750kHz, and QRS on 71.605kHz. Mike, G3XDV www.lf.thersgb.net |
