I once say a dramatic demonstration of curie point when a switch mode PSU was in
our test house for EMC certification, the noise levels increased by around 20dBs
over a period of minutes as a certain (abused) toroid heated up. Eventually we
proved it with a blower cooling the choke and watched the levels go back down by
20dBs.
