When I was studying for my degree with the Open University in the
1990s, the house style was to have a space between the figures
and the units, for example: 10 V or 10 volts; 136 kHz.

New subject:  Ron G6RO wrote to say that he has been off the air
due to a TX power supply problem.  His constant efforts to
improve his LF station resulted in a pair of rectifier diodes
failing while experimenting with a new antenna tuning system. Spares are being obtained, and he has started on the repair work.
