I have a new 'breadboard' programme running now that shows a real time
waterfall and spectrum display. It is excrutiatingly painful to watch as
the display is only updated every 18 minutes !! A definite carrier has
only just appeared exactly on frequency ( at 1930z ) now the sun has set, so
there is obviously a very predominantly skywave component with heavy daytime
absorbtion.
Sampling rate for this one is at 0.244 Hz as the frequency deviation is a
lot more than I initially thought it might be.
Better plots are produced by processing the stored raw data. I'll let you
have copies when that is available, probably tomorrow or Saturday.

Hi Andy, I could copy a carrier at good strength on 137.990 on Spectran
last
night. I
didnt bother recording as there was no modulation. BUT there where two
other
lines neaby which I think might be weak Loran lines ....these were much
weaker than what I think was Marco's carrier. These lines where probably
outside your 'slot' , they where about within 0.3 Hz and separated by about
about 0.3 - 0.4 Hz. I will be interested to see your plots.
