G'day Kev,
Appears I owe you an apology. I have checked with the Macquarie Dictionary
Sales Department here and it seems the two page Aus edition you have is
probably the special abridged export edition produced for your geographical
area. According to their market research they determined that anything
more extensive than this would lead to a debilatating confusion with some
purchasers in that area. The edition you have apparently has only words of
three letters or less which explains why you couldn't find wanker or aerial.
They inform me that they are making a bold marketing gamble by releasing a
version for your geographical area which has words with more than three
letters and smaller writing so you should see that appearing in your local
library soon. Look under the 'First Readers' section.
Kind regards and sincerest apologies.
Steve Olney VK2ZTO.
P.S. I can send you my youngest son's Macquarie Dictionary unabridged
edition (he grew out of it at about 8) if you feel you are up to the
challenge.

Is that a type of engine, I only have the Aus two page paper back
dictionary
and cannot find the word. Aerial mast does not appear either the
nearest I
can get is bamboo pole.
