Friday evening, after a good start at 17:30 UT, our slow CW QSO failed. The signal of GB4RS disappeared in the middle of his call. Does anybody know what happened? Sparks from the loading coil. The enamel on the wire seemed to be breaking down and everything went off tune. Dave G3YXM. |
