Wine version 20050310, Argo V1 build 134 (the latest version I think), OSS sound, 2.4 Kernel. No tricks needed here, I just apt-get'ed wine (Debian Sarge) and it worked right away. 73, -- Fabian Kurz

If I recall properly, there were some problems booting certain versions of Ubuntu (< 5.x ?) with Serial ATA CD ROM drives. The kernel booted up properly, but then it was unable to mount the CD filesy

Andre, You need to burn it as an ISO CD image onto the CD. The first time I tried I made the mistake of saving it as a regular file (a common mistake apparently). See: https://help.ubuntu.com/communi
