No, Canadian hams choose a call sign of their liking based on what's not is use. I choose mine based on my last name some 25 years ago when I passed the advanced exam. My other call is VA7LF... I tak

Oh and I forgot to add when I choose the call TIL it has a nice rhythm in CW... My other call is VA7LF... I take it there is no differentiation between those in the UK with personality disorders and
