No, Canadian hams choose a call sign of their liking based on what's not 
is use.  I choose mine based on my last name some 25 years ago when I 
passed the advanced exam.
My other call is VA7LF...

I take it there is no differentiation between those in the UK with 
personality disorders and those without it in your callsign system?
