Andy, LF, I have had no problems with the serial port PTT control of WSPR. With a normal 9-pin RS232 port, on the motherboard of the PC, I use the RTS line for PTT switching, via a simple transistor

I've just re-started the WSPR monitoring, at 12:00z Will keep an eye on the display over the afternoon, when in/around the shack, and upload all spots to WSPRnet Cheers, John

I have (sort-of) sorted out the transmitter control problem. While both WSPR.EXE and WSJT6 both refuse to properly control the PC-installed COM1 port, they do both behave properly with an FTDI type U
