It would seem to me that just sending one's callsign followed by "K" would be an invitation for anyone to go ahead. The "K" would differentiate this from a beacon where no command is given. John Andr

Why not GE which could stand for general enquiry and is one dot shorter.! Laurie Good idea but it can be confused with Good Evening. Why not just G9XYZ dah-di-dah-di-dah? Like K and A put together. K
