Thanks to all for the encouragement and advice. We have a nasty storm on the way so let`s get started before it`s too late... LF: 137.477 kHz, 6 Chars, 8K19A, 3 s symbols, 416 symbols, starting 1900
Hi Markus, There will be dds and DOCXO offsets on LF. The VLF is GPS disciplined. I got off to a rough start -- but the next frame (2300) should be good. Thanks for your online resources! 73 & GL Joe
Hi Markus, The dds word was 59045922 which gives 137477.000244. DOXCO was good to +-10 ppb last time it was checked. The next project is a GPS disciplined LF carrier. 73 & GL and thanks again! Joe Hi
Welcome to Rob and amazing work, Markus! Jow Both simultaneous messages from Joe and Rob were decoded fine after the 23 UT Slot. Well done both! 73, Markus --Ursprüngliche Mitteilung-- Von: jcraig <
Late start tonight ... immediate copy of VO1NA and, of course, K3RWR Will see if VO1NA's decode can be improved. Thanks for the EbNaut sigs gentlemen! Jay W1VD
Jay, Thanks for the reports! Based on your decode I could probably reduce TX power here by some 27 dB and still get the message delivered with a decent margin to boot :-) Tnx and 73, Rob - K3RWR
Hi Jay, You're most welcome. The TX power was reduced from to 50 to 10 and then to 4 watts, but the message still reached Markus. Just finished shovelling a foot of snow from the driveway. 73 Joe Lat
Joe I also gto the following decode but couldn't get the gist of the message ... I must be missing something ... which is too often the case ;~) . Jay W1VD -- Original Message -- From: <[email protected]

Hi Markus, Domenico and EbNauters, Very pleased with these results and to see the autodetectors in operation. To me, receiving EbNaut is more challenging than transmitting and automation is a good in
That's an interesting one, surpassing Shannon more than 30 times! Surely good for a paper in Nature ;-) I suspect that the noise measurement in EbNaut includes out-of-band energy, i.e. whatever is co
Jay, It just made it through! Very nice. Today's 1700 transmission arrived at DF6NM. It is still daylight here at 1930ut. 73 Joe Joe Just noticed I overlooked the 0300 transmission ... Jay W1VD
