Hello the list, I've heard that the secret to keeping things going in electronics is to make sure you don't let the smoke out (that's what makes it all work apparently). I have again failed to do so.

Warren, any chance to use a higher number of turns? Core loss should go down at least proportional to their inverse square, hysteresis losses even with inverse cube . 73 de Markus, DF6NM In einer eMa

Hi Markus, Thanks for the suggestion. I am currently using 16 turns of #10 wire for the 50 ohm side and 3 turns of rubber insulated 16 mm2 wire for the low impedance loop side. I would have to use sm
