Hi Tom, The Icom R-75 and the Kenwood TS-440 (transceiver) both work well on LF. I've used the latter rig since 2005 and have been very pleased with it, having logged a few European and UK stations.

Hi Tom, For LF RX, i still haven't tried it but this may be a good idea: http://www.w1vd.com/k9ay11.pdf But you can also start with a omnidirectional E field antenna or a normal resonated loop. 73, S

Ok, I am looking at all the fun you all are having on LF. I have a few RXers that go down to 100 Kc, what do you all recommend for a receiver for 173 Kc or lower? I have seen many discussions about a
