I think your right Jim, I have a signal on 198 , but that must be from the on channel northern repeater I wonder what it is locked to ! 73 -G.. Dear LF Group, Whilst checking frequency calibration, I
I think the relays are locked to the main signal ( off air?), presume are in 'idle' with no ref to lock .... I know driving to Scotland, there is a area where the 198 signal is 'mushy'/'wobbly' as on
Dear LF Group, Whilst checking frequency calibration, I notice that the BBC R4 signal from Droitwich on 198kHz seems to be QRT at the moment. It appears to have been off since about 0700 this morning
Hello James, I do hear the relay station at about S-9 here. Interestingly it shows fading of about 8 dB, at times severely distorting the reception quality. 73, Roelof, pa0rdt
Hi Jim, same here, the lower station is the strongest, the +0.1HZ carrier is very weak.Signalstrenght S9 to S9+10dB 73 Victor --Oorspronkelijk bericht-- Van: [email protected] [mailto:
As far as I know the three transmitters have rubidium standards and no phase locking. There was some mush area steering (receive loops at Pontop Pike near Newcastle) but this was disconnected some 25
Dear Roelof, LF Group, At my QTH there are 2 carriers visible at about the same level, one close to the nominal 198kHz, the other about 0.1Hz low, which probably accounts for the QSB. A third, much w
