To avoid having laptop running in the shack, which occasionally produces some QRM, I can send received audio from the shack to a desktop computer in the house on a twisted telephone pair. This works

Hi Hugh, Maybe there is some improvement when trying 2 isolation transformers and grounding the TP cable in the center? The other solutions will not work well i think, because the dynamic range is no

Thank you Stefan. I could try two microphone transmitters back to back as I have only one 1:1 isolation transformer and again I might try a short range LED link although these tend to have linear mod

Hi Hugh, But then the problem should be solved when placing the isolation audio transformer on the laptops end, so the wire does not act as an antenna. Did you try that? Maybe grounding the laptop to

Hello Stefan. The QRM is direct from the circuits in the computer, having a cast alloy frame, grounding it helps tremendously most of the time. What I will do is to feed the balanced 300ohm radio ant
