Hello LF, Graham, Just started WSPR again, and see a nice bright trace at approx 503.965 in the 20:40 slot, but again no decode. I see no-one else reported a successful decode on WSPRnet at that time
Alberto, I think the time is okay on G0NBD's PC, as the periods that do decode show DT of 0.2 seconds, so no great problem I think. The decoding problems seem to be when the S/N rises above about -6d
Hello again, I have tried, with a narrow AF filter, and can just detect by ear your QRSS dashes. I must admit that without the Spec Lab waterfall I'd not really be sure I was hearing you, but there's
Dear Jim & LF, Thanks for all the trouble you've gone to Jim, the resulst show it was worthwhile. I'll have a look at the pattern of s/n versus time after daylight and see how things went overnight.
Since it's possible to run WSPR and Spec Lab concurrently I'm running a grabber on 500kHz too Spectrum range shown will be 503 - 505.300 (to include the various beacons) upload at 5 minute intervals
Gary, LF, Glad to be able to give a report! Jim's PSK31 is very strong (comparatively) giving 100% print. Your WSPR is varying, and not every period is decoding, but still a great job with so little
Jim & LF, Some finger touble with the pre-amp, but seems stable now. Old laptop is a bit sluggish at decoding, but looking okay now at -13dB s/n Looks like I'm your 2nd best "miles per watt" on 136,
Yes, I also notice good decodes at low S/N ratios, during downward fades, but nil decodes when the signal is stronger than about -6dB of strong signals due to soundcard sample rate problems, and in t
Chris, Great to see you're receiving Jay too, now we need the others to QSY up and join in, to get more data. I noice Jay you're reporting 500W - TX power NOT ERP presumably! That must quite a nice P
Mal, Of course, as usual, you are wrong. These OLIVIA/MFSK experiments are trying to establish the relative performance of various coding and modulation schemes on a band that hitherto has been domin
Hello LF, I've retuned the RX setup to 502.400 and am awaiting signals. I have to be out of the house for a few hours soon, but (of course) everything will be left running and uploading to the WSPRne
