No, nothing on JT65A. WSPR is still decoding OK even though nothing is visible on the SpecJT screen. I;'ve been getting quite a lot of demods showing sync 404Hz with a S/N -25dB, but can't see anythi
I've just had three quite good hits from JT65 reporting DF = 404Hz and S/N -21 to -24dB. Clearly visible on the screen, but no data decode. Df = 404Hz is some way off your stated 430Hz Just realised
Hi Graham Yes, I've got the right sequence time and am running WSPR and WSJT 5.98 in parallel. Surprising the WSJT averaging won't extract a valid decode. Some of the sessions are being tagged as hav
Graham - Both signals seen at similar strength, but no decodes from either. Both showing DF = 404Hz and sync between 0 -2 , SN = -21dB plus/minus. Average was building up but not decoding. Strange. I
Having just read back through Joe Taylor's WSJT documentation, my comments last night about how the WSJTA version ought to be 3dB better than the ..B due to narrower signal bandwidth just aren't true
Don't you mean, carrier frequency 501.5kHz, Tone frequency 503kHz ? Andy G4JNT ...trying to decode you amongst the myriad of pops and noises audible here... -- Andy G4JNT www.scrbg.org/g4jnt
Gotcha ! At last, a WSJT decode (CQ G0NBD) Only monitoring the even minutes at the moment (I set 'auto' rather than 'monitor' in error) and in the last 11 demods, one gave a full decode of your data
Very Interesting. In the WSJT user screen there are several sucessive -19dB S/N individual listings and, out of 70 sequences, it has selected 22 of them as being valid, but not one single correct dec
Here's the complete log covering my 4.5 Hours of decoding the WSPR test transmission. It really does seem an impressive mode. It was providing reliable copy even whenm not visible on the SpecJT scree
For anyone wanting to build WSPR mode into a DDS based beacon source, I've added the calculation for generating the frequency increment value given the DDS clock, and RF multiplication. See http://ww
Yes, I'll take a listen tomorrow night. Do you have the 'proper' WSJT software rather than multipsk. It will transmit with a frequency offset, just set DF to your required value then click teh Tx DF
