Paul In addition to Stefan's comments ... When starting out with EbNaut I found it helpful to scour the archives of this reflector https://klubnl.pl/rsgb_lf_group-archives/html/rsgb_lf_group/ for inf
Nice going Markus and Rob! Looks like 'every last dB' was helpful but not required. Jay W1VD -- Original Message -- From: Markus Vester <[email protected]> Reply-To: <[email protected]>
Rob, fellow EbNauteers Confirmation that Rob's transmission is working properly ... note BER 0.0%. ebnaut-rx V0.8 input file C:\EbNaut\K3RWR\03252229.wav sample rate 2.314815 per second rx frequency
Paul It's easy to get started with 'preconfigured' QRSS modes. Look under Quick Settings>Slow Morse reception. Maybe start with QRSS3 so you can see rapid results to any changes you make. Jay W1VD I'

Rob & EbNaut enthusiasts Good copy on tonight's transmission ... although phase is a bit 'wobbly' compared to previous daytime receptions. Jay W1VD Attachment: K3RWR032818.png Description: PNG image
Riccardo Unfortunately, no copy. Checked all appropriate transmissions ... even tried stacking (doubtful it would help anyway due to poor phase stability) . Will be happy to look anytime your station
Riccardo Sorry, no chance for reception last night ... see strong interfering signal 137.490 at http://www.w1vd.com/grabber.html grabber 1. Thought K3RWR might have bumped his 'VFO' (due to 28 min du
Alan, Paul, Markus and LF enthusiasts A bit of history from this side of the pond ... to the best of my recollection. Beginning in 2003, 137 kHz Part 5 licences were issued to individual stations ...
Ran across this interesting LF/MF history that I hadn't seen for a while: https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=3&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0ahUKEwilr4rwo5faAhVEMawKHW0aB04QFghGMAI&u
Markus, Riccardo & EbNaut enthusiasts DF6NM Markus 2 decodes ... 0100 and 0300. IW4DXW Riccardo 0 decodes ;~( . For 0100 and 0200 it was 'one or the other' (too few bins for both) ... looked for DF6N
Markus, Riccardo & EbNaut enthusiasts Rob wasn't transmitting last night so gibberish was the correct decode ;~) . Will look for you and Riccardo tonight if you're active. Thanks for the heads up on
Alex Wonder if you're planning to include EbNaut? There have been a few long distance receptions the past few days. Jay W1VD -- Original Message -- From: Alex R7NT <[email protected]> Reply-To: <rsgb
Markus Will start looking for your EbNaut signal, as well as Riccardo's, at 2200 Z. Sunset here is currently 2317 Z. Okay on Joe's signal being unlocked. Jay W1VD -- Original Message -- From: Markus
Alex Thanks for considering adding EbNaut to your list! The most important parameter is that there was a decode at all ... Rank and EbN0 of the reception would be a nice addition but not absolutely n
Markus every possible transmission from here between midnight and 4 UT. It wasn't me ... it was the power of EbNaut! You have made a good showing on my QRSS grabber over the years ... as well as OPDS
Riccardo & EbNaut community Sorry to report no reception again last night ... even with the new 3 character message. As Markus points out this may be a difficult path. Not sure I've ever received a s
