Hi Andy, all,

No doubt any write up or information will be helpful to someone.
Different people have different levels of understanding, including
strengths in different areas. If you write something I would
certainly like to see it and, with permission, add it (or a link to
it).

It is possible I will be able to put together a resource which helps
others without learning enough to do EbNaut myself! If so, that's OK.

This is evidently going to be a long hard road for me. I bring to
the table nearly 40 years of building experience, but my knowledge
in several areas key to EbNaut success is severely lacking. Add to
this a known / diagnosed learning disability and I have my work cut
out for me. All the words in the world won't help me much. I learn
far better from circuit diagrams and system block diagrams but those
seem few and far between in this world of experimenters who don't
need to depend on such.

As I've said before, in some respects I've entered a world where I
may not belong. I am an amateur radio operator who would describe
himself as an extreme DXer. I came primarily looking for those very
few and very difficult amateur radio two way QSOs, secondarily
wanting to learn about LF propagation and technical matters. I am
finding the latter particularly challenging as LF seems mostly
populated by experimenters whose knowledge is so far beyond mine
that I usually don't have a clue what they're talking about! ;-)

I sometimes learn well by doing and experimenting but budget is so
limited a failure usually means months before I can try again.

I was very intrigued by some of the ideas about using up/down
converters with SpecLab and use of the cheap NEO-6/7/8 as a signal
source, but without diagrams of working systems I would be wasting
time and money if I tried to build something.

73,
Paul
