Thread-topic: LF: EbNaut LF message announcement
Dear Stefan,

Thank you for your kind comments. I am new to posting on this reflector.

I am using a KiwiSDR as a receiver, feeding the Linux scripts. I suspect the format of the produced file is not what the Ebnaut decoder is expecting. There is obviously enough signal.

I have a IC7100 which I will able to retrieve tomorrow from another location which I will then run in parallel on the antenna splitter and conduct further tests.

Hello Markus and Geoff,

Markus, thanks for the decode and feedback. How do you explain the minor phase instability in your phase plot? Is it propagation?

Geoff, thanks for trying. The 2nd message is completed already. S/N should be fine for a decode :-)
Are you also new on this reflector? It is nice to see new OMs always and always again :-) I know your call from theWSPR map on LF. Your RX and location must be very good for LFreception!
Which method do you use for getting EbNaut decodes, i.e. what isyour (extended) rig?

Stefan,

A good signal here also - however I have been unable so far to produce a recording which will produce a successful decode. I will keep attempting.

Hi Stefan,

a booming signal here, as usual. Interestingly, simultaneous decoding of VO1NA is pretty much undisturbed, even though ebnaut-rx claims -14.1 dB carrier-based  Eb/N0 due to the increased power in the 115 Hz audio passband.

Unfortunately at this time I can't run autodecoders with the heavier code, the available PC took many minutes on full throttle just to crunch through the flat-phase trials.

73 and good luck,
Markus
