Dear all,
As received some bug reports about SlowJT9 crashing almost instantly it added some more debug lines at startup
(when accessing the sound card) in SlowJT9 v0.9.12.2.
Hopefully this will reveal what is causing the crashes at startup.
Further changes:
- Recording of the incoming audio is pauzed during transmission or tuning.
- While figuring out the JT9-5 problem this option is temporaily disabled.
In order to use SlowJT9 version 0.9.12.2:
1. Close SlowJT9 (if running).
2. Install SlowJT9 version 0.9.11 (if not already done). The installation file for this version ca be downloaded at
http://472khz.org/SlowJT9/SlowJT9_setup.exe .
3. Download the zipped SlowJT9.exe from
http://www.472khz.org/SlowJT9/SlowJT9_v0.9.12.2.zip and unzip it in a temporary directory
4. In the directory where version 0.9.11 is installed (by default c:\SlowJT9): replace the existing SlowJT9.exe (version 0.9.11) with the one you just unzipped (version 0.9.12.2).
5. Launch SlowJT9 from the desktop shortcut. Now version 0.9.12.2 should run.
Bug reports (please enable the saving to debug.txt in Settings -> Save) are appreciated.
If the previous version is running without problems there is no need to upgrade.
