Regarding the popularity of the new old mode:
Maybe it is worth that someone writes an article in a blog or so, explaining the 9 dB advantage of WSPR-15 vs. WSPR-2, the old software that is used and the modification that makes use of the latest WSPR decoder (multi-pass on so on). And finally the script by DF6NM which helps to upload the spots when using the latest decoder. 
It would be useful in many languages.
There could be a number of watching stations who doesn't understand what's going on. It could be linked somewhere in the hope they pick it up, including K1JT ;-)
