Seemed easy enough here - at least when using an analog radio connected to the microphone jack. Best 73, Markus -----Ursprüngliche Mitteilung----- Von: N1BUG <[email protected]> An: [email protected] <[email protected]> Verschickt: Fr, 16. Nov. 2018 19:57 Betreff: LF: WSPR-15 I will try WSPR-X and see if it will run tonight. Occasionally it will go a few hours without crashing but more typically it is a few minutes. I installed Markus new batch file and the associated utilities today. It seems pretty simple. All went well until I changed my Windows default sound devices to make it work. At that point every application involving sound ceased to function. I think the issue is that selecting different default devices for some reason caused Windows to re-enumerate every sound input and output device! Somehow I am not too surprised. Windows is a pain in the butt! I could probably get it working by changing the default devices and then reconfiguring input and output devices in all my sound apps... two instances of HDSDR, five of WSJT-X, five of SpecLab, SlowJT9, and a few other odds and ends. That would be no big problem, but from time to time I would have to change it all back, as there are other things which require the default devices to be as I have had them all along. Oooohhhhh... WSPR-15 is very interesting, but it's not quite interesting enough at this time for me to do all this reconfiguring periodically. 73, Paul
