Thanks Paul! That was just the information I needed.

I was still using v0.8 on the 64 bit machine, will update it and go with the -PU -asx options.

My problem on the 32 bit machine was that I already have v0.9 there but tried with -a alone. Now with  -as and -asx it works just fine.

Edgar has helped with an autoexit modification for show_rawsyms. So no more taskkills in the future ;-)

All the best,
Markus

The latest version 0.9 of the Windows decoder has a slightly
modified -a option:

  options:

-N nchars    Message length in characters (no default)
  -f filename  Input file name
-c ncpu      Number of CPU cores to use (default 1)
-L size      Viterbi list size (default 20000)
-p poly      Polynomial set, or alias
-k crclen    CRC length in bits, 8 to 32 (default 16)
  -F freq      Frequency offset, Hz
-T secs      Start time offset, seconds
-S secs      Symbol period (default 1.0)

-PS15    Phase search step 15 degrees
-PS30    Phase search step 30 degrees (default)
-PU      Search uniform phase only (default full search)

-as      Start automatically (default start button)
-ax      Exit automatically when run complete

Unable to reproduce that here, but I test in the wine emulator.
Does it pick up any of the command line options, or is it just -a
that doesn't work?  Does it output any complaint to stderr stream?
