The path from VO1NA to Burlington CT is only 589 kM ... and it's mostly over water.
 
Have been attempting to decode VO1NA for a couple weeks now (both 2100 and 0900 transmissions) and only have that one success. If I didn't have such an easy time with W4DEX's transmission I'd think there was something wrong with the receiving setup! (Suppose that's still possible). There has been no shortage of very convincing false decodes. Think Stefan is right ... a higher CRC is needed.
 
Any chance the lack of VO1NA decodes on this side of the pond is due to the terminator affecting both the 2100 and 0900 transmissions?
