Hi Chris G3XIZ,

Your S/N is about 2-3dB better on the earth-electrode "antenna" than on the compromise vertical. I think the "loop" in the ground would be end-on in your direction. Thank you so much for coming on 136kHz WSPR.

G6AVK has also been active, but not copied. He is orthogonal to the "loop".

If you are able to come on 136kHz WSPR this evening it will be interesting to compare the difference. Still using the deaf (at 136kHz) FT817.

Incidentally, the schematic of the mag-mounted EFP on the car roof used many years ago is attached. This was used with the FT817 very successfully.
