Dex,  rightly said ;-)  The two of you are doing hundreds of bits from far behind the coast, while we here have been struggling for almost a week and not gotten a single unambiguous character from Canada.

Paul you may smoke all your cigars, but better keep some of the sausages ;-)

Very fine work indeed!

All the best,
Markus (DF6NM)

We got another low noise night!

Copied

'EBNAUT JEMANDEM ZEIGEN WO DER HAMMER HANGT'

Eb/N0 = +0.1 dB, BER 39%, constant reference phase;
S/N -21.54 dB in 1Hz, -55.52 dB in 2.5kHz;
List rank 69758;
Signal phase -14.9 deg;
Antenna azimuth 300 deg;
Decode time: 598 seconds;
Decoder memory: 75 Gbyte;
Decode PC: AWS r4.4xlarge, 122 Gbyte RAM 16 cores.

Signal calculator predicted Eb/N0 +0.15 dB - pretty close.
The S/N peaks 0.1 dB higher at azimuth 320 deg,
and 0.1 dB lower on the GC bearing.

A new record T/A message length and another of my dwindling
supply of cigars consumed.

Many thanks to Dex for the reliable repeatable good quality
signal which is essential for success with these experiments
at limit.
