4th Dec 00:00 to 09:30 W4DEX measured S/N -23 dB in 1Hz,
enough to carry a 30 character message.

The previous night, 00:00 to 11:00 averaged -22.3 dB in 1Hz
and in 11 hours would carry a 39 character message.

Meanwhile, a little further up the band, VO1NA from
21:00 on the 3rd to 09:30 on the 4th averaged -25.7 dB
and might do 21 chars in 12.5 hours.

The optimum beam heading for both signals is around 330
degrees, compared with the great circle bearing of
about 280 degrees.
