Yes DFCW-1800 does look a bit small in a "6000" window but still mostly readable. The transmission went from 7 to 17 UT, fitting more or less into the daytime low-noise period. Best SNR was a bit over 15 dB - reminding us that an efficient mode like EbNaut could pack the whole message into a single one of these dashes.
Thanks Stefan for leaving your east-west loop connected to the tree receiver! All the best, Markus -----Ursprüngliche Mitteilung----- Von: Markus Vester <[email protected]> An: rsgb_lf_group <[email protected]> Verschickt: Fr, 24. Mrz 2017 11:10 Betreff: VLF: 8270.0025 Hz DFCW I'm currently attempting a DFCW-1800 transmission on 8270.0025 Hz +- 1.1111 mHz. There are no gaps between symbols, but the carrier phase is alternated every 30 minutes to seperate consecutive dashes on the same frequency. Something seems to be visible on Stefan's 424 uHz grabber... Best 73, Markus (DF6NM)
