Subject: LF: First TA decode in MF Opera 8 ?
Hi
MF
Very interesting
night !
Combining WSPR and
Opera8 transmissions I have been able to get decodes in both modes from USA last
night
Mainly because now
we have a US station using Opera
There was just two
stations and three decodes in WSPR. Interesting to note that the best path was
at lower latitude
to NC3Z in North
Carolina

The Opera decode was
reported by Andy KU4XR in East Tennessee, not far way from
NC3Z
01:23
477 EA5DOM de KU4XR Op8 Deep Search 4455 mi -36 dB in Friendsville, TN. USA
1465.1 Hz
The
Opera 8 transmission matches time and frequency and also decodes by few other
stations
It
started at 01:14 just after the WSPR transmission decoded by NC3Z and ended at
01:22
The
deep search decoder takes one minute so it was time stamped at
01:23
Always
woth to try Tx and even more interesting to alternate different modes
:-)
