> I guess that's the longest message (by amateurs) on VLF so far. Probably so, although I admit I haven't been keeping track of the various milestones and records. Hopefully it can be pieced together from the large file of emails saved since your first successful VLF kite transmission on 2010-03-15. One day I'll go through it and compile a log. It's clear from our daily repeats that the propagation is well behaved in this band, at least during the day. Phase has been very repeatable. Hopefully the case also at lower frequencies although I am suspicious about 2970. I guess the next step for 46km is T/A. It's been a couple of years since W4DEX was heard in Europe on VLF. Perhaps Dex is tempted for a new record? > i will move to the 58 km band. QSYing now... -- Paul Nicholson -- |
