My computers do not have a RS232 serial port and I needed an alternative method to generate and key  my SSB transceivers in QRSS mode.

The method used is SPECLAB to generate an appropriate tone , in  my case 700 Hz, which keys the TX in SSB MODE.

Ideal method for any SSB transceiver or Transverter using VOX, no hardwire switching needed.

I do not  have a USB/SERIAL port adaptor which of  course is another method but needs a hard wired line between computer and TX for keying

Others may already be using this  method but I have  not seen any details on the subject
