Hello John,
the drop down list of the first list page at 472kHz.org shows only those countries that are claimed at least once.
Registered users can make first claims online (after logging in), if someone does not want to register claims can be send to me and I will enter them into the database.
Roger is already registered, so he could make the claim online right away.
And of course congrats to Roger and Steve!
73, Rik ON7YD - OR7T
Roger, VK4YB, successfully completed a two-way JT9 QSO with Steve, VE7SL after a few previous attempts. This QSO is believed to be the longest two-way QSO ever completed under amateur service rules on 630-meters (11802 km).
Steve will be posting details to his blog in the coming days, which can be found at
ve7sl.blogspot.ca . Details and screen captures are available now in today's daily report, posted at
http://njdtechnologies.net/091516/ .
Congrats to Steve and Roger. This is monumental event in medium wave amateur radio history.
73!
John KB5NJD / WG2XIQ..
PS: When searching 472khz.org, the entities list seemed incomplete as Australia was not included in the dropdown list. I would like to ask Steve or Roger to login and claim this QSO but want to ensure that the option is available
before asking one of them to do so. Thanks for any info!
