I've just been trying to use my new Smart Meter to measure the mains power consumption of on of my 137kHz transmitters, the QRP 180 Watt linear Tx.
I took the display unit out to the shed where the Tx resides and fired up the RF. As soon as I touched the touchscreen controls, instant lockup of the display unit. Fortunately it had a master reset button. It certainly wasn't happy with high E-field, as , I'm sure any touchscreen won't be Andy G4JNT |
