Then the next issue (appart of PA) will be a switching system to be able to alternate Tx periods in MF and LF. Think it will be doable using small power
and vacuum relays. It's a pity to be forced to choose to Tx in only one band
That's a problem of many of us. But there is not really a good solution if you want to maximise the efficiency of each band. On QRP it may work but i find it's better to put the effort in the improvement of the radiated power ;-)
Better to switch manually each few days. Also, during the years here i have not heard about someone who realised such a serious band switch. The problem is, you need to switch at HV and the complete arrangement will have a significant C against ground, which will lower the efficiency of the whole system. But of course, there ARE solutions, like a large mechanical switch as used in HV switch gears...
Just my opinion of course.
