Hi Stefan,

I have a look at your grabber after every hour of sun here in Cologne. Too bad; I've already thought of a magpie would steal your Pi, HI HI!

We should start crowdfunding for a DK7CP/p windmill.

Hello Andy,

Nice experiment. I will be watching. Hopefully there comes some more sun so that my remote system automatically wakes up again. :-) There is a loop pointing directly to your location...

Hi All.

This evening I’ll test on MF WSPR2  a short 5 meters long vertical whip. It is a thin wire inside a telescopic fiberglass fishing pole.

Including coil and ground resistances, the base impedance is 54 - 10100 j. The antenna needs about 3.4mH serial coil to tune it.

Computed effeciency is – 33 dB. Using 1 Watt output TX for this test, the expected ERP is 0.5 mW and 0.75 mW for the EIRP.

Base current is 135 mA and RMS RF voltage is 1350 V.

Reports be welcome.

73 de Andy.
