Details of my Coherent LF receiver for digitising a signal centred on 1kHz then sending I/Q baseband samples over a serial link to a PC can be found at http://www.g4jnt.com/Coherent_LF_Receiver.pdf The PC software linked in there - written in VB6 - can generate a .WAV file of decimated samples in a format that EbNaut can read. I've saved that as a full installation package for those without VB runtime libraries present The PIC based digitiser is useable with a conventional receiver delivering a 1kHz tone. The opamp band pass filter provides adequate anti-aliasing for the majority of purposes, but if you use a narrow CW type filter in the receiver to reject audio below 750Hz and above 1250Hz, the opamps could be dispensed with and the PIC used on its own Andy G4JNT |
