I'm testing out a coherent receiver for LF and looking for something of air that WILL show an ionospheric effect from time to time. So looking for a station transmitting with an Rb or Cs controlled transmission between 200kHz and 500kHz. My Rx is Low Pass filtered to 500kHz so nothing above that At the moment, using Radio 4 Droitwich, and MSF 60kHz the trace can be held on screen absolutely stationary for hours on end, but those are a bit boring to look at continuously :-) So I'd like to have something else to monitor and demonstrate that will show a slight wander at certain times of the day. Is there anything around? All the NDB signals I've tried are unstable and their frequency wanders Andy G4JNT |
