Hi Stefan, LF group,

great news: Michel FR5ZX sent an email confirming that he had actually received DK7FC, his first reception ever on 630m. He mentioned that he is preparing to get on the air himself.

Very nice!

Hi Stefan.

I believe this to be a legitimate report.  Andre Michel is a real person on La Reunion and he has been monitoring over the past weeks and I have seen web statistics that indicate someone on La Reunion has been viewing my website so its my belief that he has outfitted his station for 630-meters.

He is listed on QRZ - https://www.qrz.com/lookup/FR5ZX

I believe this is the real deal.

congrats!  This is a significant report.

73,

John

Hi John,

Well, i saw that spot in the morning and i have been on air in that time slot. Also the call is not a nonsense call and the locator is not somewhere in the sea :-)
But i had some doubts anyway. Never heared about this call. Does it fit to the country there? Do you even know the OM? Has he been active on that band to that time? Can he confirm the detection? -28 dB sounds ok. Would it have been -1 or so, i would guess that he listened to Twente webSDR :-)
More informations needed...

Can anyone confirm whether the WSPR report by FR5ZX on Reunion Is. of Stefan, DK7FC, is a first of its kind?

Congrats - and great to see FR5ZX find success on 472 from such a remote outpost.

Also of note - Merv, K9FD/KH6 / WH2XCR, is now transmitting at 10-watts total power out while testing his system.  Once his impedance matching work is complete he will have 100-watts TPO available to him.  He did very well over night and I expect the future possibilies of being heard in EU might be similar to what has been done with VK and JA.  Please listen for him.

73 and thanks for any info you might have!

HI MARKUS          I am realy FR5ZX.

Thanks you very much for all informations     Last night, I spot again DK7FC on 630 m with miniwhip and  RX winradio G313E. but one time only for all the night.

Last week I heard  SAQ on 17.2KHz above noise with the same equipment.

I will active on 630M with TS590S + 100w home made AMP   (Not enough power I think)    But the real problem is to put an effective antenna in the garden.

I am often listening low bands and had some hope to test with South Africa, but nobody.     I never heard Australia.

The first station I receive here is  DK7FC         THANKS TO HIM

Neverless MARKUS    and be sure  I am really FR5ZX              ex F6AAO at Valbonne on the french RIVIERA.

73'S for all             Regards                        MICHEL      FR5ZX
