Hi Chris, Well, that's a shame...It's all cast iron pipe here in Toronto... I put in seven ground rods around my house, each 10 feet long and 3/4 inch = diameter...Standard copper clad steel electrical ground rods from the DIY s= tore... They are bonded together with two 6 AWG wires, one at ground level and the = other at about 6 inches above ground. Hose clamps and Penetrol for bonding. I tied the system into the city water mains with 1/2 inch copper tubing... Seems to work quite well so far... 73 John VA3VVV |
