There was qrm - but it was sort of manageable. The antennae was effectively placed above most of the electronic smog - for BY3A Tanngu it was located on the top of a block of apartments with luckily a golf course on one side but megga City on the other. The building had a very effective screen and lightning/bonding system so bonding the coax eliminated most of the common mode stuff, same for 9V1LF operations where the probe was again on the top of a flat apartment roof - 

Earliest opening to Eu on 137 and 505kHz was around 0740-0940z from Eastern China If  I pull the data, but 5 or more wspr decodes friom Gus were nothing abnormal - I also know he had  a few nights at lower power and still made the land path.

Example above - Gus was in for multiple days around about the same time, just short of my daytime gray line - Antennae was PA0RDT atop a City tower block near Bohia Bay
 
I was vy surprised about mini-whip using in the city. This is unreal in Moscow for example. Industrial noice and other interference vy high from chinise power supply's here.

That's assuming  the  path  stays  open  long enough , I think  these  are  flash  events , all  the  long haul  on 500  has  been  single  or I think  2  decodes  for  sm6bhz wspr  to  china , with  tx at  100%  duty , but  upto  now , there  is not a solid data  decode either  way ..
 
But  its  that  time  again soon : )

Op8 practically the same not more QRSS-3. 
QRSS-120 will be more really 146% I think -)
As we are know 30m high ant vy effective for 477. Mal and DI2AM used the same on 500 many years ago.
140W real power, not QRPPPPP.
