Many thanks to Roelof PA0RDT for my one and only cross-band QSO yesterday evening.

Roelof was receiving my MF signals well on his excellent 'Miniwhip' at 579 and he was peaking 599 with me on 80 m

He was running only 5 watts to a doublet aerial.

I shall try for cross-band QSO's again soon, giving more notice and hopefully get a better response.
