Hi all,
Yesterday i've installed a second solar module to my remote receiver in
my garden, which is currently running as a MF station:

It is a 50 Wp module that is now parallel to the 20 Wp module. Meanwhile
the battery capacity was increased to 3 x 7 Ah. And some branches were
removed.
Despite a more or less overcast day and a permanent current consumption
of 240 mA by the Raspi+Receiver, i got enough energy input to reach the
upper battery voltage limit near 14V, which causes the regulator to
interrupt the charging.
So this is a good sign. The goal is to reach a availability as high as
possible, even in winter and bad WX. Most likely i have to increase the
battery capacity for that. But i will continue in steps :-)
For the installations i extra bought a climbing gear, which allows to
operate into the tree with both hands in 15 m AGL.
