Laurence;
As you know, we had one bad-ass Winter here too. I have never seen the ice in on Keuka Lake this late before! The Snow Geese and Canadian honkers late starting their trips North. I must say, however, I don't recall this many sunny days in March before. They certainly were welcomed!
No one on the 137 QRSS band either US or Euro portion. I thought I could get a glimps of Stefan to see if there was even slight chance of propagation but he must have no bothered to fire up. I did see my signal for a while on his grabber and also on Gary's WGT's grab so there was some propagation.
You can look forward to maybe an open lake and throw in a line for a Salmon or trout for a nice lunch! 73, Bob WE2XEB

Got a sort of qrss60 X and that was all this evening 137.7781 - and nothing at all seen from DCF39
Strong visual towers of Aurora here over the lake at 11Z this morning but actually 475kHz was a little better long haul
Must be Spring 3 Trumpeter Swans flew over this evening looking for open water - it will be a week or more before we see gaps in the lake ice.
