The devil is in the data , nearly a Tasmanian one Hi , records
held in the PSK-MAP data base show VK Tx beacon = 16:30z , G Rx Spot
= 16:39z
This fits exactly , with Tx start , and OP8Dy detection [ 8 +1 ] 9

Thanks, I am using my 160m inverted L with a base loaded variometer.
Its been very wet with a tropical air mass.
Should have measured my field strength this am when I walked the dog.
Transceiver is Flex 1500 with homebrew filters with 1mW from the transverter
port to a Codan 100W HF power block and another output filter. 50w at
475kHz into the variometer.
My usual dry field strength determined EIRP is about 200mW.
Limited earthling, a few short radials, 10square meter ground screen and 50m
of steel rail fencing.
