Conditions are improving as it gets into winter here in Alaska - this morning David VK2DDI received WE2XPQ Alaska TransPacific at around 12000Kms on 475kHz with a couple of decodes around 1300Z , and one from Larry WH2XGP in Washington State around 11Z Conversely I didn't decode any station from Texas or Oklahoma last night - what an odd band.....especially as I for a WARK K4 warning just before going to bed and was looking for Aurora. WSPR stations in BC and Washington state were at CW qso levels here at some 2500Kms later in the night after a slow start Merv on Molakai Hawaii WH2XCR continues to receive very well with paths/decodes to Alaska/Washington State /Oregon (4500Kmsish, Texas and Oklahoma (6000Kms) and WG2XJM just North of Pittsburg Penn at near 7500Kms - :-) Hoping the path opens over the Pole soon - Im listening and looking on both 137k and 630m - Laurence KL7 L WE2XPQ Palin land Alaska
