Hi Chris,
Indeed not a big challenge, but always good fun.
Did you hear about DJ5MN's "beer-garden expedition" into JN68 (which is
only 10 minutes away from his regular qth) ?
He just left home and will spend the afternoon at the brewery, using the
club station call DF0BV. Kind of "farewell, four meter band" - party.
He didn't specify a frequency, and doesn't make skeds via chat (I almost
applauded him for that decision, because this chat/cluster QSO business
seems to take over these days).
A tricky distance to JN68 for QRP CW but we'll see.
Have a nice sunday,
Wolf DL4YHF .

Wolf,
I'm afraid I'm the only cross band partner...
Not really a challenge...?

Greetings all,
Just seen on the dx cluster:
(with spotter, qrg, dx call, locators, mode)
I5EFO <http://www.qrz.com/db/I5EFO> 474.0CD6LVJ
<http://www.qrz.com/db/CD6LVJ> JN53HU<>AI37 wspr SNR=-19 0620 30 Aug Chile
Unfortunately locator square AI37 is right in the middle of nowhere
(south pacific) .. thus not a real activity from Chile :o)
Since Germany will lose the temporary 4m band allocation tomorrow :
Anyone here who'd like to try the rare crossband opportunity 4 m / 630
m, perferrably CW ?

Wolf DL4YHF .
