I think your right, after the HF- FHSS development, the new versions of Opera and Ros , seem to be much improved , the older versions are still valid , but as JR points out , its not psk31 and its under constant development , these issues are now 12 days old , vintage by previous standards !

There  is a constant level of  activity on  145  MHz  using   op05 30
seconds , with virtually zero  false  decodes ,much improved  from  this
time  last  year ..  and a  fixed beacon  as  well  F5ZAL  144,474usb Op05

ED5YAE beacon on 1296.965 will follow working in Op05 using OZ2M keyer

We have been playing Aircraft Scatter in Spain during the winter with very
good results. The 30 sec periods are short enought to be usable even at 1296MHz And the new Opera version with improved resistance to fading makes it even more
reliable for this mode
