You keep pulling tricks out of the hat to make things work! That is great and maybe you can apply OP4H DDS to the various 9 kHz stations on the air!
I saw my signal pop-up on the spectagram and I kept the TX on and all of a sudden at about 0650 UT the signal dropped out like someone threw a switch! No fading-no warning just gone! I shut down at 0700.
I think you agree there is no better mode that can match your DS and certainly nothing to come close to DDS. Bob

Days are getting warmer, nights are shorter,
and QRN is increasing...
This morning
was noisier than last night, and the Op-2H carrier was not very
conspicuous here in the 106 uHz spectrogram. Anyhow a "deep deep search"
with reduced carrier detection threshold produced a single hit with decent
correlation:
2014-04-02 05:54:29 WH1XBA 6448km
29499.000Hz 0mHz -60.5dBOp 100% 14.6dB
I have annotated those reduced-threshold detections
by an asterisk and added them to the table at the bottom of the opds
page

Bob, in spite
of your carrier standing out well above the noise this morning, overnight
opds-2H produced no hits above the correlation threshold which is
currently set to 14 dB. Rerunning the data with lower
threshold showed one close detection:
2014-04-01 02:59:24 WH1XBA 6448km
29499.000Hz 1mHz -56.1dBOp 100% 13.8dB
and another one which seemed to have good SNR
and plausible timing but very low correlation:
2014-04-01 05:10:42 WH1XBA 6448km
29499.000Hz 1mHz -51.9dBOp 76% 11.8dB
Unfortunately no trace from Dex on 29501 became
visible.
